Regardless of what type of website you run, you can add Adsense to supplement your income. Those sites that make the most from Adsense are the ones that offer unique content and real value to its visitors.
A technique many internet marketers have recently had success in is creating websites that are strictly Adsense driven–no product or service being sold, just a content article with Adsense on the page. If you’ve searched the internet lately for a particular product, you’ve probably come across these types of sites.
Although they’re still popular, the majority of these “cookie-cutter” sites are being delisted from the search engines. As a result, sites that used to bring in good money each month aren’t bringing in a dime!
Bottom line is that if you want to make real money from your website, you need to add value for your visitors by having unique and original content. Then, you can include Adsense to monetize your site even more.
Next time, I’ll give examples of where to place your ads for the highest click-thrus.
Last month, we explained how Google AdWords is used by internet marketers to promote their home business products and services. There are many benefits to using AdWords to advertise, especially since your ad could end up on page 1 of the search engine results without having to wait months or even years until your site is ranked high enough to appear on the first page or two of the results.
Today, we are going to begin introducing you to Google AdSense. AdWords is the part of the equation where marketers create the advertisement and AdSense is the part that shows the advertisement on your home business website. Adsense is dependant on AdWords, but AdWords is not dependant on Adsense since ads are also displayed on search engine results pages.
So, now we know that ads displayed on websites can be a result of Google AdSense (remember Yahoo, MSN, and others have a similar programs, but we’re using Google since they’re the most popular right now).
The benefit of adding AdSense to your website is that Google will share a percentage of the fee charged to the advertiser with the owner of the site. As you can imagine, the amount of money some website owners are making from AdSense is quite substantial. This is especially true if the niche is very popular and advertisers are willing to pay large sums to have their ad shown.
Next time, we’ll talk more about AdSense and how it benefits your online business. For now, you should read more about AdSense by clicking here.
If you’ve been around the internet a while, you may have noticed that search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN display some results under headings such as “sponsored links” or “sponsored results” that normally appear at the top and side of the page. These particular results are actually advertisements that business owners and webmasters pay the search engines to display.
To explain why and how this process works, I’m going to give you a simple example. We’ll use Google for our example since they are the most popular, but the other search engines work similarly. Before we start, l want you to keep in mind that ranking high in the search engines (which usually means appearing on the first page of the results for a specific word or phrase) is very difficult to achieve. This is especially true for popular niche markets such as insurance, credit cards, loans and home businesses.
The why part may be obvious. Lets say I own my own internet home business and one of the niches I’m interested in is promoting acne products online. When I first create my website, it will be impossible to compete with marketers that already have established websites. So, instead of waiting six months or a year to start ranking in the search engines, I can pay to have my website advertised. Depending on what I’m willing to invest, I could even have it appearing on the first page of search results in a matter of days.
The how part is a bit more complicated. Instead of paying a standard rate to advertise, most search engines leave it up to you to decide the maximum amount you’re willing to spend. The actual cost is determined on a per-click basis based on a formula. Since there could be 10, 20 or 30 other people advertising their acne products, the placement of your ad will depend on how much the other advertisers are paying. You are only charged if someone clicks your ad.
What we just reviewed is not Google AdSense. This part of the equation is called Google AdWords. In order to utilize AdSense, advertisers must place ad through AdWords. To learn more about AdWords, click here.

I hope everyone had a very Happy New Year! I’m sure 2007 will be another great year for internet marketing. And remember, it’s never too late to get started, but you have to put in the time and effort if you want to run a serious and profitable home business.
Last week, I mentioned a new project I was working on that dealt with the very popular subject of Private Label Rights. With Private Label Rights (or PLR) products, you have an opportunity to begin making money in a short period of time. Plus, you have the opportunity of putting your name on the product as if you created it yourself.
I just started developing a brand new website that will offer PLR products at a discounted price. The products on this site will be high quality and can be personally used by the buyer, along with having the Private Label Rights or Resell Rights to that product. And, like I mentioned earlier, the price will be at a deep discount. Heck, I even have a price guarantee!
Although it’s in its infancy, you can find the new site at http://www.plrebookstore.com. You can sign up from the site to receive updates when new products are added, plus I’ll be providing updates on our blog as the site progresses.
First, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I spent the weekend and past few days celebrating Christmas with my family. It was a nice break from the normal routine, but like many home business owners, I did manage to check my emails and yes, actually did a little bit of work.
Before I go into what I was working on, one of the subjects that has really taken off recently are Private Label Rights products, or PLR products. The trend really started to pick up steam earlier this year, and now you can find PLR eBooks, articles and software all over the internet.
I personally love PLR products! What makes these products so great is that anyone (and yes, anyone) can purchase a PLR product and begin making money within a short period of time. Many of these products allow you to put your name as the author–as if you created it, and will even include a sales page and thank you page.
You simply modify the files where needed, upload them to your server and you’re ready to begin promoting! Of course, promoting will take a little work, but how much simpler can it get to have a product that’s in your name?
Since I believe Private Label Rights are a great resource for both new and existing home businesses, my most recent project deals directly with this subject. Since I’m still in the early stages of development, I’m not going to reveal what I’m working on just yet, but will be letting you know within the next couple days…
